English

Today, balanced development is emphasized as a key and important issue in all societies and political systems that have a heterogeneous cultural and social structure. In this issue, the role of elites (intellectual-instrumental) is very important and decisive. In societies that have cultural-social, ethnic-tribal diversity and pluralism and an unbalanced economic-social structure, this issue is raised as a challenge in the path of cultural and political development. The aim of the research is to investigate and analyze the role of tribalism components of intellectual and instrumental elites in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province and its relationship with the uneven development of the province in different regions. In order to explain, describe and analyze the research data that was collected in the form of documents, library, internet, interview and survey, a combined research method was used in two qualitative and quantitative phases. The findings of the research indicate the impact of social-cultural components (tribalism, linguistic-racial issues, etc.), economic-livelihood, media, etc. on the unbalanced development of the province. The results indicate that the role of tribalism components in the development of the province has been prominent, but gradually due to socio-cultural development and the use of communication-virtual media, the role of this element has decreased.
