چکیده English

This research seeks to compare the principles and strategies of the foreign policy of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with the diplomatic policies of the Supreme Leader (Ayatollah Khamenei) in order to analyze the influence of the Prophetic tradition (Seerah) on the Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign policy in the realm of international relations. Examining this topic not only illuminates the longstanding connection between Islamic diplomacy and the teachings of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) but also provides a practical model for foreign policymaking in the Muslim world. The research employs a qualitative, descriptive-analytical method with a comparative approach. Data has been gathered from library sources, academic articles, newspapers, news agencies, and reputable databases, using research tools such as note-taking, digital archives, computer and satellite networks, and authorized websites. Descriptive validity has been used to ensure the accuracy of the reported data. The findings indicate that the foreign policy of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has served as a foundational model in shaping and implementing Iran's foreign policy under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei. Core principles such as preserving the Islamic system, safeguarding the Muslim community, defending independence, and countering external threats have played a pivotal role in forming the diplomatic approaches of the Islamic Revolution's leadership. Furthermore, given the integration of Iran's foreign policy with Islamic ideals and doctrinal principles, the Supreme Leader has developed a coherent and principled framework for the Islamic Republic's diplomacy, rooted in the Prophetic tradition. This study emphasizes the importance of deriving lessons from the Prophet’s (PBUH) conduct (Seerah) in foreign policymaking and demonstrates that adapting Islamic principles to contemporary conditions has been a key factor in the continuity and success of Iran's foreign policy in confronting international challenges.
