The purpose this research is to represent the experiences of school teachers from the phenomenon of social wear. The method used in this research is the qualitative strategy of the fundamental theory (Strauss and Corbin). Participants in research were 15 elementary teachers. The research collection tool included a 6-question protocol including the main objectives of the research. To analyze the obtained information, a three-step process of data coding, i.e. open, axial and selective coding, was used. results of the research showed that the concept of social attrition and the characteristics of teachers involved in attrition are defined based on teachers' understanding of individual problems and organizational challenges. According to their point of view, the decrease in interpersonal relationships and interactions, decrease in necessary efficiency and the withdrawal from any activity in the organization are related to person affected by wear and tear. Also, various factors and contexts such as negative environmental effects, , and psychological problems can lead a person to social wear in the organization. In meantime, organizational injustices and interpersonal tensions are the main cause of this issue. Based on results of consequences of social attrition, two categories are generally expressed, one of which is the decrease in the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization and the other is the indifference of the members. In addition to these solutions and actions that will lead to social wear and tear in teachers and organizations, we can mention the increase of interpersonal interactions and the dynamics and flexibility of organizations.
