Identification and Evaluation of Social Factors Affecting the Sustainable Development of Tehran and Zahedan Cities

Abstract
The current research is applied in terms of purpose and qualitative-quantitative research method. The sampling method in the qualitative part is in the form of snowball in order to identify the social factors affecting the sustainable development of the cities of Tehran and Zahedan, and in the quantitative part, simple random sampling was chosen to determine and measure the status of the identified components. The statistical population of this research included experts, professors and academic experts and academic staff members of universities and research centers. For this purpose, 78 social indicators affecting sustainable development were identified and evaluated. The investigated indicators were extracted and named in 7 main indicators of education, poverty, internet, population increase, health, economic inequality, unemployment. Based on the presented results, the biggest gap is related to the education status, and although the education status in Zahedan and Tehran has a higher average than other cases, the difference between the education level of Tehran and Zahedan is more significant. The smallest gap is related to poverty and economic inequality, which despite the significant difference between these two categories in the two cities, due to the existence of poverty and economic inequality in the two cities and the unfavorable situation of these two variables in Tehran, there is a smaller gap in this respect between the two cities, have seen.
