One of the most important new achievements in the direction of reducing the harmful effects of imprisonment on the society in two ways: reduction and replacement of imprisonment, changes in the law were approved in 2019. This research has reached the conclusion by descriptive analytical method and by using library resources that the Law of Reduction of 2019 regarding the application of criminal partnerships with other laws does not have a specific and coordinated strategy in the legislative policy of Iran and in this sense for the application of these partnerships in terms of Structural, software and hardware defectsAnd there are obstacles, but with the application of this law, tangible effects will be created in reducing the current criminal population and subsequent rulings, which will remove many of the harmful social effects of punishment for the individual, family, and society.
