Abstract

With the acceptance of development camp theorists to new issues and also increasing attention to government institution since the 1990s, issues such as "Good governance" became the top of the interests of relevant researchers. In Iran, since the last two decades, a large number of studies in human sciences have been devoted to the importance of good governance. Based on this, the current research has been carried out with the aim of deeper understanding of the content of these studies and also to evaluate their results. In order to achieve the mentioned goal by using the systematic review method, after identifying related articles in internal databases, 30 articles published in the last fifteen years were selected. The results obtained indicated that most domestic researchers were interested in analyzing this issue at the "national" level. In addition, among the components of good governance, "efficiency and effectiveness" has been the focus of researchers more than other components. The methodological point of view also showed that most of the researches in measuring and analyzing good governance have made a lot of effort to use valid indicators and tools at the global level. The analysis of solutions and suggestions has also shown attention to the role of both "Government" and "Society". According to the findings of the research, half of the studies did not have any specific strategy or suggestion. Also, the researchers' little attention to the context and cultural context has been one of the other shortcomings in these studies.
