Abstract
In today's competitive world, organizations need motivated and hardworking employees to achieve success and sustainability in dynamic work environments. Motivation for progress is one of the most important factors affecting the performance and professional growth of employees, which increases productivity, innovation, and organizational commitment. Therefore, the purpose of the research is to design a model of the antecedents and consequences of employee motivation for progress. The present study was conducted with a qualitative approach and was an applied research in terms of purpose and using the content analysis method. The experts included faculty members as well as senior managers of medical sciences, and the interviewees included 16 people who were selected using snowball sampling until reaching theoretical saturation. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews. To ensure validity and reliability, the findings were confirmed by the interviewees. Max QDA software was used to analyze the information. Findings from the interview analysis included 1 overarching theme, 7 organizing themes, 15 basic themes, and 92 initial codes were identified for model design. The results also showed that organizations can strengthen employee motivation by creating a supportive environment, developing motivational policies, and providing growth and learning opportunities. This will not only improve organizational productivity, but can also increase employee satisfaction and loyalty.
