Collective conflict refers to tension, conflict, physical confrontation, and group battles, which are influenced by macroeconomic and structural conditions. Among other components, economic issues are considered to be one of the most impactful factors in intensifying and increasing collective conflict. The results of studies conducted between 2013 and 2021 indicate an increase in the tendency toward collective conflict across the country, with most provinces experiencing this phenomenon to varying degrees. The main objective of this research is to sociologically examine the impact of economic factors and issues on the emergence and continuation of collective conflict in Iran from 2013 to 2023, using secondary data analysis and a national survey approach. The research methodology is secondary data analysis, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 25. The findings are presented and interpreted in two sections: descriptive (frequency tables, frequency charts, and central indices) and inferential (bivariate and multivariate tests). In general, the study confirms a significant relationship between changes in macroeconomic issues and the trend of collective conflict in the provinces. The secondary hypotheses showed that an increase in the Gini coefficient, intensifying unemployment (reduced business and employment opportunities), rising inflation rates, and their fluctuations between 2013 and 2021 have contributed to an increase in collective conflict across Iran.
