A symbol of industrialized countries which affected various life aspects, influencing life expectancy as one of the most important of human life aspect. By life expectancy improving, a lot of changes have been happening, which need to be studied by social researchers as well. According to it, this article aimed to analyze the relationship between service-based economic development and life expectancy in Iran, which has been done by qualitative and secondary analysis of Iranian 2016 census data. Using macro analysis, all of the 31 Iranian provinces have been analyzed as the macro unit. According to the results of the analysis, there is a positive significant association between service-based economic development and life expectancy (r=0/598). Also, the results of the regression analysis have been shown that 36 percent of the life expectant variations in Iran provinces have been predicted by service-based economic development (R^2 = 0/358). According to these results, service economic development has a determinative and important role in life expectancy variation in Iran. Also, according to the descriptive results, there is a lot of variation between Iranian provinces in service economic variation which needs to be considered by social designers. As a sample, there is a big gap between Tehran, as the most development province, and Sistan Va Baluchestan, as the least development province in Iran, which telling us about the unequal service programs by government between Iranian provinces. So, the governmental service should pay more attention to this.
