Divorce, as an unpleasant reality, has always brought a particular Damage to women, the present research studied women’s image of their own feminity and of their Body through the process of Divorce (damage and distortion of self-image and self –definition), which are among the most important damages caused by divorce and separation. In analyzing the said process, “Grounded Theory “was applied and 17 female university lecturers, teaching in the university of Applied Science and Technology, mostly from middle class of the society and They have experienced marriage and divorce at least once. were selected as our subjects. The findings show how divorce causes feminine existence destruction, self-denial, self destruction, and sometimes alienation with the totality of their self. All these consequences mean subjection, violation of freedom and autonomy in women that eventually make these women passive, self-suppressive and revenger creatures, with no trust and lots of anger toward the totality of Relationship or Relationships.
The Analysis and interpretation of the data gathered from the subjects eventually indicate that Divorce and generally speaking experiencing any kind of Separation have led to self-destruction, others- oriented self-definition, and appearing some reactive Behaviors.
