Analysis of the Hierarchy of Areas of Damghan City with the Approach of Social Justice

Abstract

Moving and achieve sustainability in cities, will be achieved when occurs allocation and distribution of facilities and services among spatial and based on spatial justice. In this direction the present study aims to method of descriptive-analytic with evaluation of distribution of facilities and service in urban areas, proportional with their population, lead to prioritize areas based on the level of benefit and ultimately provide strategies to achieve social justice and urban sustainable development. In this research are examined nine areas of Damghan city for example. The information gathered using of documents has been analyzed with SAW technique based on eleven indicators of public services. The results show that the amount of  having of urban facilities and service in the areas of Damghan city is unbalanced and there are significant differences between the most having and the most deprived areas of the city that this factors in previous periods has led to consequences such as unnecessary movement in the city, the concentration of population and activities in parts of the city, and expanding of urban different problems and lack of the same having of urban services in different areas that requires desirable policy and planning in this field to improve the current situation in order to achieve social justice and urban sustainable development.
